Whereas, Henry Morris "Hank" Goldberg was born July 7, 1936, to Nat and
3Shirley Goldberg; and

Whereas, Hank received his bachelor degree and doctor of medicine degree
5from Marquette University; and

Whereas, Hank joined the United States Army and served as a combat surgeon
7in the Vietnam War; and

Whereas, following his military service, Hank returned to Wisconsin where he
9joined his father's medical practice; and

Whereas, in 1979 Hank founded Milwaukee Industrial Clinics which expanded
11to become Occupational Medical Clinics of America; and

Whereas, Hank also founded Substance Abuse Management, Inc., which
13became the world's largest drug testing company; and

Whereas, Hank was a clinical professor for many years and served on the board
15of directors of the Medical College of Wisconsin; and

1Whereas, Hank founded RAIR Technologies which provides electronic data
2management services to the trucking industry; and

Whereas, Hank was an innovator and forward thinker, who advanced the
4transportation technology industry in the United States and made our roads safer;

Whereas, Hank raised two children from his first marriage and was a beloved
7mentor to two more from his second marriage and to four grandchildren; and

Whereas, Marquette University honored Hank with a lifetime achievement
9award in 2009; and

Whereas, Hank Goldberg passed away on March 23, 2013, and will be interred
11at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C.; now, therefore, be it

12Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the Wisconsin
13legislature honors the life and public service of Henry Morris Goldberg and extends
14its condolences to his family and friends.
