1An Act to amend 38.08 (1) (a) 1g. a. of the statutes;
relating to: the
2qualifications of members of the Milwaukee area technical college district
3board.

Under current law, the Milwaukee Area Technical College district board is
composed of nine members, including five persons who represent employers. Of
those five, three must represent employers with 15 or more employees and two must
represent employers with 100 or more employees. "Employer" is defined to mean a
business entity, nonprofit organization that provides health care services, credit
union, or cooperative association.
This bill provides that a person representing an employer must have at least
two years of experience managing a business entity, nonprofit organization that
provides health care services, credit union, or cooperative association with at least
15 employees or at least two years of experience managing the finances and the
hiring of personnel of a business entity, nonprofit organization that provides health
care services, credit union, or cooperative association with at least 100 employees.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
