SENATE AMENDMENT 2, TO SENATE BILL 698

SB698-SA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB698-SA2,1,2 1. Page 15, line 7: after that line insert:

SB698-SA2,1,4 " Section 38m. 66.1019 (3) of the statutes, as affected by 2015 Wisconsin Act .... (2015 Assembly Bill 568), is repealed.".

SB698-SA2,1,5 2. Page 16, line 23: after that line insert:

SB698-SA2,1,7 " Section 45m. 101.02 (7m) of the statutes, as affected by 2015 Wisconsin Act .... (2015 Assembly Bill 568), is repealed.".

SB698-SA2,1,8 3. Page 17, line 5: after that line insert:

SB698-SA2,1,9 " Section 46m. 101.02 (7r) (am) of the statutes is created to read:

SB698-SA2,2,2 101.02 (7r) (am) If any provision of a contract between a city, village, or town and a property owner of a multifamily dwelling requires the property owner to comply with an ordinance that is unenforceable under par. (a) or that does not conform to subch. VI of ch. 101, 2013 stats., the property owner may waive the provision, and the provision, if waived, is void and unenforceable.".

SB698-SA2,2,4 " Section 203m. Nonstatutory provisions; reconciliation.

SB698-SA2,2,8 (1) Repeal of multifamily dwelling code; 2015 Assembly Bill 568 enacted. The treatment of section 66.1019 (3) (by Section 38) and 101.02 (7m) (by Section 45) of the statutes by this act is void if 2015 Wisconsin Act .... (Assembly Bill 568) is enacted.
