  Senator Lazich recognized the presence of Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch, Attorney General Brad Schimel, and Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Evers; Chief Justice Patience Drake Roggensack, Justice Shirley Abrahamson, Justice David T. Prosser, Jr., Justice Annette Kingsland Ziegler, Justice Michael J. Gableman, and Justice Rebecca G. Bradley of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
  Assembly Sergeant-at-Arms Anne Tonnon Byers announced the arrival of Governor Scott Walker.
  Escorted by Senators Roth and Lassa, and Representatives Duchow and Doyle, Governor Scott Walker took his place at the rostrum to deliver his State of the State address.
