7under s. ss. 303.06 (2) and (3) and 949.165 for the administration of subch. I of ch.
8949 and for crime victim compensation payments or services.”.

AB1033-AA2,2k 18Section 2k. 949.165 (10m) of the statutes is created to read:
AB1033-AA2,2,2219 949.165 (10m) Remaining funds. If 3 years have elapsed from the date of the
20establishment of the escrow account and no civil actions seeking money judgments
21are pending against the defendant, the department shall transfer all remaining
22moneys to the appropriation under s. 20.455 (5) (i) for crime victim compensation.
AB1033-AA2,2m 23Section 2m. Initial applicability.
1(1) The treatment of section 949.165 (4) (a) 1. to 3., (5), (6) (title), (7) (title), (8)
2(intro.), (a), and (b), and (10m) of the statutes first applies to moneys held in escrow
3by the department of justice on January 1, 2018.”.
