AB524-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB524-AA1,1,3 1. Page 1, line 7: after “firearm," insert “disqualifying a repeat offender from a license to carry a concealed weapon,".

AB524-AA1,1,4 2. Page 3, line 24: after that line insert:

AB524-AA1,1,5 “ Section 7d. 175.60 (3) (cm) of the statutes is created to read:

AB524-AA1,1,12 175.60 (3) (cm) The individual was convicted of a misdemeanor on 3 separate occasions during the 5-year period immediately preceding the submittal of the application, if the convictions remain of record and unreversed. For purposes of this paragraph, it is immaterial that sentence was stayed, withheld, or suspended, or that the individual was pardoned, unless such pardon was granted on the ground of innocence. In computing the preceding 5-year period, any time that the individual spent in actual confinement serving a criminal sentence is excluded.”.
