SB133-SA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB133-SA2,1,2 1. Page 2, line 1: before that line insert:

SB133-SA2,1,3 “ Section 1m. 100.62 of the statutes is created to read:

SB133-SA2,1,10 100.62 Locks required for fuel pumps. (1) Locks required. Any person who sells or distributes motor vehicle fuel in this state and who dispenses that fuel from a pump capable of reading a credit or debit card shall ensure that each pump is locked to prevent access to the pump's internal card-reading mechanism. Locks used on pumps must be unique to the property on which the pumps are located and a key capable of opening a lock on one property may not be capable of opening a lock on another property.

SB133-SA2,1,12 (2) Penalty. A person who violates sub. (1) is subject to a forfeiture of no more than $200.”.

SB133-SA2,2,2 2. Page 2, line 8: delete “Any" and substitute “Except as provided in s. 100.62, any".

SB133-SA2,2,3 3. Page 4, line 2: after that line insert:

SB133-SA2,2,4 “ Section 3. Effective date.

SB133-SA2,2,6 (1) The treatment of section 100.62 of the statutes takes effect on the 90th day after the day of publication.”.
