SB228-SA3,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
SB228-SA3,1,4 21. Page 3, line 24: delete the material beginning with “Notwithstanding" and
3ending with “of the" on page 4, line 1, and substitute “The department of
4administration shall offer for sale under section 16.848 (1) of the statutes the”.
SB228-SA3,1,9 52. Page 4, line 3: delete the material beginning with “The department" and
6ending with “department" on line 6 and substitute “If the building commission and
7joint committee on finance do not approve a proposed sale under section 16.848 (1)
8of the statutes, paragraph (b) does not apply. If a proposed sale is approved, the
9department of administration”.

SB228-SA3,2,7 124. Page 4, line 12: after “2022." insert “The department of administration, in
13consultation with the department of corrections, reserves the right to reject any bid

1in the best interest of the state. If the department of administration receives no
2acceptable bid under this paragraph, paragraph (a) does not apply. If the department
3receives an acceptable bid, the department shall submit the bid for approval by the
4building commission and the joint committee on finance under section 301.18 (4) of
5the statutes. The department shall provide the commission and the committee with
6information concerning anticipated annual operating costs that will result from the
