SB549-SA2,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB549-SA2,1,2 21. Page 2, line 7: delete “grants".

SB549-SA2,1,3 32. Page 2, line 9: delete “training" and substitute “ training.".

SB549-SA2,1,5 43. Page 2, line 10: delete that line and substitute “Biennially, the amounts in
5the schedule for training”.

SB549-SA2,1,7 64. Page 4, line 6: delete “grants to public safety answering points" and
7substitute “moneys".

SB549-SA2,1,8 85. Page 4, line 8: after that line insert:

SB549-SA2,1,12 9“1m. The department may distribute moneys under this subsection through
10grants, by establishing an application process for persons to submit proposals and
11establishing a contract with the department to provide training as described under
12par. (b), or through a combination of these methods.”.

16. Page 4, line 11: delete the material beginning with “A grant recipient" and
2ending with “par. (b)" on line 13 and substitute:

SB549-SA2,2,5 3“2m. A recipient of moneys received under this paragraph shall use the moneys
4to provide dispatchers with training in accordance with the standards under par.
5(b).”.
