AB344-ASA1-AA1,1,3 1. Page 1, line 3: after “service" insert “and funding for broadband expansion grants".

AB344-ASA1-AA1,1,6 “ Section 1e. 20.005 (3) (schedule) of the statutes: at the appropriate place, insert the following amounts for the purposes indicated: - See PDF for table

AB344-ASA1-AA1,1m Section 1m. 20.155 (3) (a) of the statutes is created to read:

AB344-ASA1-AA1,2,4 20.155 (3) (a) Broadband expansion grants; general purpose revenue. Biennially, the amounts in the schedule for broadband expansion grants under s. 196.504.

AB344-ASA1-AA1,1s Section 1s. 20.155 (3) (r) of the statutes, as affected by 2019 Wisconsin Act 9, is amended to read:

AB344-ASA1-AA1,2,11 20.155 (3) (r) Broadband expansion grants; transfers. From the universal service fund, all moneys transferred under s. 196.218 (3) (a) 2s. a., 2015 Wisconsin Act 55, section 9236 (1v), 2017 Wisconsin Act 59, section 9237 (1) and (2) (a), and 2019 Wisconsin Act 9, section 9201 (1), and 2019 Wisconsin Act .... (this act), section 2r (1), for broadband expansion grants under s. 196.504.”.

AB344-ASA1-AA1,2,17 196.504 (2) (a) To make broadband expansion grants to eligible applicants for the purpose of constructing broadband infrastructure in underserved areas designated under par. (d). Grants awarded under this section shall be paid from the appropriations under s. 20.155 (3) (a), (r) and (rm).

AB344-ASA1-AA1,2r Section 2r. Fiscal changes.

AB344-ASA1-AA1,2,21 (1) Federal e-rate transfers. There is transferred from the appropriation account under s. 20.505 (4) (mp) to the universal service fund $6,900,000 in fiscal year 2019-20 and $17,300,000 in fiscal year 2020-21.”.
