As Co-Chairs of the Joint Committee for Review of Administrative Rules, we are writing to inform you that the committee voted on October 12, 2020, pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 227.26 (2)(b), to direct the Department of Health Services to promulgate the policy statements and interpretations of ch. 252, Stats., as described in SECTIONS 1. to 8. of Emergency Order No. 3, relating to limits on public gatherings, as an emergency rule, following standard administrative procedures outlined in ch. 227 of Wisconsin Statutes.
As required by Wis. Stat. § 227.26 (2)(b), the department has 30 days to comply and must promulgate the emergency rule no later than November 11, 2020.
