I am writing to resign my position as Wisconsin State Senator effective at midnight tonight.
It has been an honor and a privilege to represent the constituents of the 12th Senate District. I am humbled by their faith in me, and I look forward to my next chapter in the United States House of Representatives.
The Wisconsin State Senate is a remarkable institution, and I am proud to have served in this body.
