AB1021,1,2 1An Act to amend 20.866 (2) (we) of the statutes; relating to: bonding for the
2soil and water resource management program and granting bonding authority.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
This bill increases the general obligation bonding authority for the soil and
water resource management program by $7,000,000. The program, which is
administered by the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection,
awards grants to counties to help fund their land and water conservation activities.
Under the bill, the total amount of debt that may be obligated for this program is
$82,075,000.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

, is amended to read:
AB1021,2,45 20.866 (2) (we) Agriculture; soil and water. From the capital improvement
6fund, a sum sufficient for the department of agriculture, trade and consumer

1protection to provide for soil and water resource management under s. 92.14. The
2state may contract public debt in an amount not to exceed $68,075,000 for this
3purpose. The state may contract additional public debt in an amount up to
4$7,000,000
$82,075,000 for this purpose.
