AB118,1,2 1An Act relating to: increasing funding for the child psychiatry consultation
2program and making an appropriation.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
This bill increases, by $1,500,000 in each fiscal year, the funding for the child
psychiatry consultation program. The child psychiatry consultation program
generally assists clinicians, such as pediatricians, in providing care to children with
mental health care needs.

an appendix to this bill.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB118,1 3Section 1. Fiscal changes.
AB118,2,34 (1) Child psychiatry consultation program. In the schedule under s. 20.005
5(3) for the appropriation to the department of health services under s. 20.435 (5) (bw),
6the dollar amount for fiscal year 2019-20 is increased by $1,500,000 for the child
7psychiatry consultation program. In the schedule under s. 20.005 (3) for the

1appropriation to the department of health services under s. 20.435 (5) (bw), the dollar
2amount for fiscal year 2020-21 is increased by $1,500,000 for the child psychiatry
3consultation program.
AB118,2 4Section 2. Effective date.
AB118,2,65 (1) Child psychiatry consultation program. This act takes effect on July 1,
62019, or on the day after publication, whichever is later.
