2021 WISCONSIN ACT 200
An Act to amend 59.692 (1f) (b) 1.; and to create 59.692 (1n) (d) 8. of the statutes; relating to: the construction of bridges in a shoreland setback area and vegetative buffer zone requirements.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
200,1 Section 1. 59.692 (1f) (b) 1. of the statutes is amended to read:
59.692 (1f) (b) 1. Allows the buffer zone to contain a an access and viewing corridor that is at least 35 feet wide for every 100 feet of shoreline frontage. A county shoreland zoning ordinance may not establish a maximum width along the shoreline for an access and viewing corridor that is less than 10 feet or 35 percent of the shoreline frontage, whichever is greater, except that the ordinance may not permit the width of an access and viewing corridor to exceed 200 feet.
200,2 Section 2. 59.692 (1n) (d) 8. of the statutes is created to read:
59.692 (1n) (d) 8. A bridge for which the department has issued a permit under s. 30.123.
