AB1-SSA1-AA1-SA1-AA2,1,3 21. Page 1, line 4: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with
3page 2, line 2, and substitute:
AB1-SSA1-AA1-SA1-AA2,2,10 4““(1g) Public health emergency declaration. Notwithstanding the expiration
5or termination of a public health emergency by the legislature by joint resolution or
6by the governor, the governor may issue a subsequent executive order under s. 323.10
7declaring a public health emergency related to the COVID-19 pandemic solely for
8the purpose of receiving emergency or other allotments under the federal
9Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Act of 2020; the Families First
10Coronavirus Response Act of 2020; the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic

1Security (CARES) Act of 2020; the Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care
2Enhancement Act of 2020; the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021; or any
3subsequent federal law related to the COVID-19 pandemic enacted before July 1,
42022. The governor may issue this executive order only if the receipt of the
5allotments requires an active state-declared emergency or disaster. The governor
6may not exercise any other emergency powers during a public health emergency
7declared under this subsection, including powers specified under s. 323.12 (4), except
8that the governor may order into state active duty members of the national guard
9under s. 321.39 and may approve plans developed by the adjutant general under s.
10323.13.”.”.”.
