SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 121

AB121-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB121-SA1,1,2 1. Page 1, line 3: before that line insert:

AB121-SA1,1,3 “ Section 1e. 454.04 (3) of the statutes is created to read:

AB121-SA1,1,6 454.04 (3) Before a person who does not hold a cosmetologist license under s. 454.06 (2) or a barber license under s. 454.23 (2) engages in natural hair braiding, as defined in s. 454.20 (12m), the person shall do all of the following:

AB121-SA1,1,9 (a) Complete a training program approved by the examining board in sanitation, hygiene, communicable diseases, blood borne pathogens, and safety procedures if a client is cut.

AB121-SA1,1,11 (b) Provide the examining board with the person's contact information in a manner determined by the examining board.”.

AB121-SA1,1,12 2. Page 1, line 3: delete “Section 1." and substitute “Section 1m.".
