SB209-SA2,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
SB209-SA2,1,3 21. Page 3, line 3: after “to" insert “ the polling place serving the elector's
3residence on the day of the election or
SB209-SA2,1,5 42. Page 3, line 4: delete “attached to that building" and substitute “on the
SB209-SA2,1,12 63. Page 3, line 5: delete lines 5 and 6 and substitute “permanently located and
7accessible for drive-up delivery and except that the municipal clerk of a municipality
8with a population of 70,000 or more may authorize the use of 3 additional drop boxes
9on municipal property, other than a public park, for the delivery of absentee ballots.
10Additional drop boxes authorized as provided under this subd. 1. b. shall be under
11continuous video surveillance and the municipality shall retain the surveillance
12recording for 22 months following the election
14. Page 3, line 17: delete that line and substitute “delivery of return envelopes,
2the drop box shall be secured with a lock and include a tamper-proof seal with a
3serial number on the access door. The drop box shall also be”.

SB209-SA2,2,6 56. Page 3, line 21: after “view." insert “A ballot delivered to a drop box shall not
6be counted unless it is delivered to the drop box no later than 5 p.m. on election day.".
SB209-SA2,2,13 77. Page 3, line 22: after “envelopes." insert “The clerk shall also include in a
8type E notice the times when each drop box will be emptied and the deadline for
9returning an absentee ballot in order to be counted. In addition, if the clerk
10maintains an Internet site for the clerk's office, the clerk shall publish on the site the
11location of each drop box and the times when each box will be emptied. The clerk
12shall also enter the location of each drop box on the state's voter public access
13Internet site.".
