Dear Assistant Chief Clerk Inabnet:
I request that it be noted in the Assembly Journal that had I been able to participate in the Assembly Session on January 4th, 2021, in the election of Officers of the Assembly I would have objected to the motion for a unanimous consent ballot of the election of Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and not objected to the unanimous consent ballot of the election of Assembly Speaker Pro Tempore Tyler August, and Assembly Sergeant At Arms Anne Tonnon Byers.
I further request that it be noted in the Assembly Journal that had I been able to participate in the Assembly Session on January 4, 2021, I would have voted “Aye” on Assembly Resolution 1 and Assembly Resolution 2, and “No” on Assembly Resolution 3, Assembly Joint Resolution 1, and Senate Joint Resolution 1.
Thank you for your assistance with my request.
Sincerely,
GORDON HINTZ
Assembly Democratic Leader
