Special Guest
Representative Callahan introduced Hometown Hero Award recipient Michael Dickman of Merrill. While Michael was walking to school, he heard someone yelling for help. Michael attempted to aid the person and called 911. The Merrill Fire Department responded to find the person had been stuck in the snow for over 2 hours in the 4 degree weather. Michael’s courageous actions were deemed to be a lifesaving act.
