Relating to a Special Session of the Legislature on Unemployment Insurance Modernization
I, TONY EVERS, Governor of the State of Wisconsin, by the authority vested in me by the Constitution, and the Laws of the State, specifically Article IV, Section 11 and Article V, Section 4 of the Wisconsin Constitution, hereby require the convening of a special session of the Legislature at the Capitol in the City of Madison, to commence on 12:00 pm on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, solely to consider and act upon LRB-1312/1 and LRB1430/1, relating to transactions with the Department of Workforce Development under the unemployment insurance law, funding for unemployment insurance modernizations efforts, grant rule-making authority, and making an appropriation.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great seal of the State of Wisconsin to be affixed. Done at the Capitol in the city of Madison this thirteenth day of January in the year of two thousand twenty-one.
