Senator Carpenter, with unanimous consent, asked that the Senate adjourn in honor and memory of Senator Richard A. Grobschmidt, who served in the Wisconsin Legislature from 1985 to 2003. Richard was a tremendous colleague and a distinguished representative of the South Side. Early during their time in the state legislature Richard and Senator Carpenter were officemates, and he’s glad to see that he has recently received recognition with the dedication of the Richard A. Grobschmidt Memorial Bridge in Lakeshore State Park.
