SB304,1,2 1An Act to create 20.115 (3) (dm) of the statutes; relating to: soybean marketing
2board grant and making an appropriation.

This bill appropriates $500,000 in fiscal year 2022-23 to the Department of
Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection for the purpose of providing a grant to
the soybean marketing board.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

SB304,2 1Section 2. 20.115 (3) (dm) of the statutes is created to read:
SB304,2,42 20.115 (3) (dm) Soybean marketing board grant. The amounts in the schedule
3to provide the grants required under 2021 Wisconsin Act .... (this act), section 3 (1).
4No moneys may be expended from this appropriation after June 30, 2023.
SB304,3 5Section 3 . Nonstatutory provisions.
SB304,2,106 (1) Soybean marketing board grant. The department of agriculture, trade and
7consumer protection shall provide, from the appropriation under s. 20.115 (3) (dm),
8a grant of $500,000 in fiscal year 2022-23 to the soybean marketing board to meet
9one or more of the objectives of the board's marketing order, including market
10research and development, industrial research, and educational programs.
SB304,4 11Section 4. Effective date.
SB304,2,1312 (1) This act takes effect on July 1, 2021, or on the 2nd day after publication of
13the 2021 biennial budget act, whichever is later.
