Campsite electrification
Under current law, DNR is authorized to establish and operate state campgrounds in state parks, state forests, and other lands under DNR supervision and management. For campsites located in a state park, DNR may provide and maintain electric receptacles, subject to certain limitations. One limitation provides that DNR may provide electric receptacles in no more than 35 percent of all state park campsites. This bill increases the limit to 40 percent.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
Section
1. 27.01 (15) (b) 1. of the statutes is amended to read:
27.01 (15) (b) 1. No more than 35
40 percent of all state park campsites in the state have electric receptacles.
