Name of Shot Spotter Program
Under current law, DOJ provides money to the Shot Spotter Program in the city of Milwaukee. This bill changes the name of the program to the “Gunfire Detection Program.”
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
Section
1. 20.455 (2) (cv) of the statutes is amended to read:
20.455 (2) (cv) Shot Spotter Gunfire Detection Program. The amounts in the schedule for the Shot Spotter Gunfire Detection Program in the city of Milwaukee.
****Note: This Section
involves a change in an appropriation that must be reflected in the revised schedule in s. 20.005, stats.
