2017 Wisconsin Act 261 created two field prosecutor attorney positions in DOJ to assist the Division of Criminal Investigation and district attorneys. The act also required DOJ to submit annual reports to JCF on the activities and effectiveness of the attorneys. The project positions terminate on April 11, 2023. This bill repeals the requirement that DOJ submit the corresponding annual report.
