1An Act to create 946.645 of the statutes;
relating to: picketing or parading at
2the residence of a judge with the intent to interfere with, obstruct, or impede
3the administration of justice or influence any judge and providing a penalty.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Under this bill, it is a Class A misdemeanor to picket, parade, or demonstrate
at or near any residence occupied by a judge with the intent to interfere with,
obstruct, or impede the administration of justice or with the intent to influence any
judge in the discharge of his or her duty. A Class A misdemeanor is punishable by
a fine of up to $10,000 or imprisonment not to exceed nine months, or both.
Because this bill creates a new crime or revises a penalty for an existing crime,
the Joint Review Committee on Criminal Penalties may be requested to prepare a
report.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

6pickets, parades, or demonstrates at or near any residence occupied or used by a
1judge with the intent to interfere with, obstruct, or impede the administration of
2justice or with the intent to influence any judge in the discharge of his or her duty
3is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor.
