Whereas, Donald Hasenohrl was born in Marshfield, Wisconsin, on November
425, 1935, and graduated from Marshfield High School in 1953; and

Whereas, Donald Hasenohrl married Kathleen J. Stashek on May 13, 1961, at
6St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids; and

Whereas, before serving as a legislator, Donald Hasenohrl worked as a stainless
8steel fabricator, farmer, production expediter, and fire fighter; and

Whereas, in 1974, Donald Hasenohrl was elected to represent the people of the
1070th Assembly District and went on to serve for 26 years until his retirement in 2001;

Whereas, during his time in the assembly, Donald Hasenohrl was deeply
13involved in transportation and traffic safety issues, serving as the chair of the
14Assembly Committee on Transportation for 10 years; and

1Whereas, Donald Hasenohrl was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church,
2the Knights of Columbus, the Order of Elks, the Eagles Club, and the Wood County
3Democratic Board, and served as a member and director of the Wisconsin State Fair
4Association; and

Whereas, Donald Hasenohrl passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 88;

Whereas, Donald Hasenohrl is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years,
