The Senate met.
The Senate was called to order by Senate President Kapenga.
The Senate stood for the prayer which was offered by Pastor Emily Lueder from the First Presbyterian Church in Winneconne.
The Colors were presented by the VFW Day Post 7591 Color Guard Unit of Madison, WI.
The Senate remained standing and Senator Feyen led the Senate in the pledge of allegiance to the flag of the United States of America.
The National Anthem was performed by the New London High School Chamber Ensemble.
Pursuant to Senate Rule 17 (6), the Chief Clerk made the following entries under the above date.

Remarks of Majority Leader LeMahieu
“Good afternoon, everyone, and thank you for joining us for the Inauguration of the 107th Regular Session of the Wisconsin State Senate. I’d like to especially welcome members of the Governor’s cabinet, the heads of the legislative services agencies, Senators and their friends and families, and Judge Maria Lazar for taking time to swear in the new members of the Senate today.
It is an honor and a privilege to serve in this body, in the State Senate. Our constituents count on us to lead and govern responsibly and honorably.
Thank you all again for being here for this special occasion.”

I, Commissioner Ann Jacobs, chairperson of the Wisconsin Elections Commission, certify that the attached tabular statements, as compiled from the certified returns made to the Wisconsin Elections Commission by the county clerks of the several counties of the state, contain a correct abstract of the total number of votes given for the election of candidates for State Senator, at a General Election held in the several cities, villages, towns, wards and election districts in said counties on the Fifth day of November, 2024.

Senator LeMahieu Introduced Senator Wimberger
“Born and raised in De Pere, Eric graduated from East De Pere High School and attended St. Cloud State University. There he served as student body president and graduated with a degree in criminal justice. He drove semi-trucks for Schneider National before enrolling in Marquette University Law School. Upon graduation, he commissioned in the United States Marine Corps and served as a Judge Advocate stationed in Japan and Washington DC. Eric was honorably discharged as a Captain and returned home to Green Bay in 2010 where he continued his service to the community by opening a local law practice.
Eric remains dedicated to giving back, including through his work as a board member with the philanthropic Cloud Family Foundation. He is also dedicated to helping his mom, Wendy, run Sweet Memories Candy Shoppe in Lakewood.”
