Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On August 4, 2021, the Department of Natural Resources submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats. Analysis
The proposed rules affect Chapter NR 229, relating to regulation of wastewater discharges from dental offices to sanitary sewers. Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 121-19, was approved by the Governor on December 5, 2019, published in Register No. 768A2 on December 9, 2019, and approved by the Natural Resources Board on May 27, 2020. Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on September 7, 2021.
