Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On May 8, 2025, the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Stats. Analysis
The proposed rule affects ch. ATCP 92 relating to weights and measures.
Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 068-24, was approved by the Governor on June 12, 2024, published in Register No. 822A3, on June 17, 2024, and approved by the Board of the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection on September 19, 2024. Public hearings are required and will be held:
— Madison, in-person at the Prairie Oaks state office building, 2811 Agriculture Drive, Madison, and virtually on June 24, 2025
— Waukesha on June 30, 2025 at 141 N. W. Barstow Street, Waukesha;
— Green Bay on June 26, 2025 at 2984 Shawano Avenue, Green Bay;
— Eau Claire on July 2, 2025 at the Eau Claire State Office Building, 1300 W Clairemont, Eau Claire.
The proposed rule includes electric vehicle charging stations more clearly in ch. ATCP 92. Agency Organizational Unit Primarily Responsible for Promulgating Rule
