On August 1, 2025, the Department of Public Instruction (PI) submitted CR 25-039, a proposed rule in final draft form, to the chief clerk of each house of the legislature pursuant to s. 227.19 (2), Wis. Stats.

This rule was approved by the governor on July 17, 2025.
