Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to

On August 14, 2025, the Department of Veterans Affairs submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats. Analysis
The proposed rules amend Chapter VA 8, relating to county veterans service officer (CVSO) grants. Statement of Scope
The statement of scope for this rule, SS 027-24, was approved by the Governor on February 29, 2024, published in Register No. 819A1 on March 4, 2024, and approved for implementation by the Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs on March 14, 2024. Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and has been scheduled for September 16, 2025.
