1995 WISCONSIN ACT 221
An Act to amend 15.105 (18) (b) of the statutes; relating to: a member of an area private industry council on the Wisconsin conservation corps board.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
221,1 Section 1 . 15.105 (18) (b) of the statutes is amended to read:
15.105 (18) (b) Membership. The Wisconsin conservation corps board consists of 7 members appointed by the governor from various areas of the state in a manner designed to provide regional, environmental and agricultural representation. One member of the board shall be a member of an area private industry council established under the job training partnership act, 29 USC 1501 to 1781.
221,2 Section 2 . Nonstatutory provisions.
(1)  The persons who are members of the Wisconsin conservation corps board on the day before the effective date of this subsection shall serve the remainder of their terms. The initial member appointed under section 15.105 (18) (b) of the statutes, as affected by this act, shall become a member of the Wisconsin conservation corps board on the date of his or her appointment, regardless of whether this results in there being 8 members on the Wisconsin conservation corps board for an interim period of time. Notwithstanding section 15.105 (18) (d) of the statutes, the term of the initial member appointed under section 15.105 (18) (b) of the statutes, as affected by this act, shall expire on May 1, 1999.
