2001 WISCONSIN ACT 92

An Act to create 20.370 (1) (Lu), 23.0919, 25.17 (1) (yt) and 25.297 of the statutes; relating to: establishing a Wisconsin outdoor wildlife heritage trust fund and making an appropriation.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

92,1m Section 1m. 20.370 (1) (Lu) of the statutes is created to read:

20.370 (1) (Lu) Fish and wildlife habitat. From the Wisconsin outdoor wildlife heritage trust fund, a sum sufficient for the maintenance and improvement of fish and wildlife habitat as provided in s. 23.0919.

92,1r Section 1r. 23.0919 of the statutes is created to read:

23.0919 Wisconsin outdoor wildlife heritage trust fund. Expenditures from the Wisconsin outdoor wildlife heritage trust fund may be used only for the improvement and maintenance of fish and wildlife habitat. For purposes of this section, improvement and maintenance of fish and wildlife habitat does not include the acquisition of land for such habitat.

92,2 Section 2. 25.17 (1) (yt) of the statutes is created to read:

25.17 (1) (yt) Wisconsin outdoor wildlife heritage trust fund (s. 25.297).

92,3 Section 3. 25.297 of the statutes is created to read:

25.297 Wisconsin outdoor wildlife heritage trust fund. There is established a separate nonlapsible trust fund designated as the Wisconsin outdoor wildlife heritage trust fund, to consist of all gifts, grants, or bequests or other contributions made to the Wisconsin outdoor wildlife heritage trust fund.
