2003 WISCONSIN ACT 254

An Act to amend 120.13 (25) of the statutes; relating to: leasing of school property.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

254,1 Section 1. 120.13 (25) of the statutes is amended to read:

120.13 (25) Lease school property. In addition to any other authority, lease school sites, buildings, and equipment not needed for school purposes to any person for any lawful use at a reasonable rental for a term not exceeding 15 years if approved at an annual or special school district meeting.

254,2 Section 2. Initial applicability.

(1) This act first applies to lease agreements entered into, modified, or extended on the effective date of this subsection.
