2005 WISCONSIN ACT 147
An Act relating to: amending and revising sections 85.21 (3m) (b) 4. and 346.923 (6) of the statutes for the purpose of correcting and clarifying references (Revisor's Correction Bill).
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

Section
1. 85.21 (3m) (b) 4. of the statutes is amended to read:
85.21 (3m) (b) 4. Employ as an operator of a human service vehicle any person who the specialized transportation service knows or should have known does not meet the requirements for a school endorsement specified under s. 343.12 (2) (d) (7) and (e) (8) and any rule established by the department under s. 343.12 (2) (d)
(7) and (e) (8).
Note: Section 343.12 (2) (d) and (e), which contained requirements relating to prior convictions in obtaining a school bus operators endorsement, were repealed by
2003 Wis. Act 280. Act 280 created s. 343.12 (7) and (8), which contain the current requirements relating to prior convictions in obtaining a school bus operators endorsement.
2003 Wis. Act 297 created s. 85.21 (3m) (b) 4. with a cross-reference to the repealed s. 343.12 (2) (d) and (e).

Section
2. 346.923 (6) of the statutes is amended to read:
346.923 (6) The operator holds a valid school bus endorsement under s. 343.12 or the operator meets the requirements specified under s. 343.12 (2) (d) (7) and (e) (8) and any rule established by the department under s. 343.12 (2) (d) (7) and (e) (8).
Note: Section 343.12 (2) (d) and (e), which contained requirements relating to prior convictions in obtaining a school bus operators endorsement, were repealed by
2003 Wis. Act 280. Act 280 created s. 343.12 (7) and (8), which contain the current requirements relating to prior convictions in obtaining a school bus operators endorsement.
2003 Wis. Act 297 created s. 346.923 (1) (f) — which was subsequently renumbered s. 346.923 (6) by
2003 Wis. Act 327 — with a cross-reference to the repealed s. 343.12 (2) (d) and (e).
