(4m) Before July 1, 1996, health care liability insurance may have
10provided occurrence or claims-made coverage and shall have been in amounts of at
11least $200,000 for each occurrence or claim and $600,000 per year for all occurrences
12in any one policy year or all claims in any one reporting year for occurrences or claims
13before July 1, 1987, $300,000 for each occurrence or claim and $900,000 for all
14occurrences in any one policy year or all claims in any one reporting year for
15occurrences or claims on or after July 1, 1987 and before July 1, 1988, and $400,000
16for each occurrence or claim and $1,000,000 for all occurrences in any one policy year
1or all claims in any one reporting year for occurrences or claims on or after July 1,
21988, and before July 1, 1996. On and after July 1, 1996, health care liability
3insurance may provide occurrence or claims-made coverage and shall be in amounts
4of at least $1,000,000 for each occurrence or claim and $3,000,000 for all occurrences
5in any one policy year or all claims in any one reporting year for occurrences or claims
6on or after July 1, 1996.
