SB523-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB523-SA1,1,7 1. Page 1, line 6: after the period insert: "If a sheriff acting under this subsection refuses to permit a prisoner to exercise the privilege to leave the jail under sub. (1) for more than 5 days, the sheriff shall notify the court that granted the privilege under sub. (2) of his or her action and of the number of days for which the sheriff is refusing to permit the prisoner to exercise the privilege to leave the jail under sub. (1).".
