SB105-SA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
SB105-SA1,1,3 21. Page 1, line 3: before the period insert "and construction costs of baseball
3park facilities".
SB105-SA1,1,4 42. Page 2, line 1: delete that line and substitute:
SB105-SA1,1,5 5" Section 1e. 229.68 (8) (b) of the statutes is amended to read:
SB105-SA1,2,26 229.68 (8) (b) A majority of the members of the district board determines, based
7on the best available information, that the total cost of the initial construction of
8baseball park facilities does not exceed $250,000,000. In calculating the total cost
9of the initial construction of baseball park facilities, the district must include any
10item that is required to be included in the "stadium project" under the Memorandum
11of Understanding for the Milwaukee Stadium Project, entered into by this state on
12August 19, 1995. If an item included in the stadium project is to be leased, rather
13than constructed, the district shall include, in calculating the total cost of the initial

1construction of the baseball park facilities, the present value of all lease payments
2expected to be paid by the district for the leased item.

SB105-SA1,2,4 43. Page 2, line 15: delete lines 15 to 17 and substitute:
SB105-SA1,2,12 5"(b) Payment of current operating expenses not covered under par. (a). The
6district may not include, as a current operating expense, lease payments on leases
7of items required to be included in the "stadium project" under the Memorandum of
8Understanding for the Milwaukee Stadium Project, entered into by this state on
9August 19, 1995, unless the present value of all lease payments expected to be paid
10by the district for all such leased items under this paragraph, together with all bonds
11included in determining compliance with the limitation under par. (a), does not
12exceed $160,000,000.".
