ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO 1997 SENATE BILL 25

SB25-AA1,1,2 At the locations indicated, amend the bill, as shown by senate substitute amendment 1, as follows:

SB25-AA1,1,3 1. Page 1, line 4: substitute "(1g)" for "(1m)".

SB25-AA1,1,4 2. Page 1, line 7: substitute "(1g)" for "(1m)".

SB25-AA1,1,5 3. Page 1, line 8: substitute "(1g)" for "(1m)".

SB25-AA1,1,6 4. Page 2, line 11: after that line insert:

SB25-AA1,1,8 " Section 3. 121.15 (1m) (a) (intro.) of the statutes, as created by 1997 Wisconsin Act 27, is amended to read:

SB25-AA1,1,10 121.15 (1m) (a) (intro.) Notwithstanding sub. subs. (1) and (1g), a portion of state aid to school districts shall be distributed as follows:

SB25-AA1, s. 4 Section 4. 121.15 (1m) (b) of the statutes, as created by 1997 Wisconsin Act 27, is amended to read:

SB25-AA1,2,5 121.15 (1m) (b) Beginning with the payment made in December 1997 under sub. (1), the The percentages under sub. subs. (1) (a) and (1g) (a) shall be reduced proportionally to reflect the payments made under par. (a). School districts shall treat the payments made in July under par. (a) as if they had been received in the previous school year.".
