SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO 1997 SENATE BILL 319

SB319-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB319-SA1,1,2 1. Page 2, line 1: delete lines 1 to 3 and substitute:

SB319-SA1,1,5 "146.83 (1m) (a) A patient's health care records shall be provided to the patient's health care provider upon request and, except as provided in s. 146.82 (2), with a statement of informed consent.

SB319-SA1,1,7 (b) The health care provider under par. (a) may be charged reasonable costs for the provision of the patient's health care records.".

SB319-SA1,1,9 2. Page 2, line 8: after " consent" insert ", or under the conditions specified in s. 146.82 (2),".
