AB133-SSA1-SA6,3,17 (c) Denial of approvals. 1. As provided in the memorandum of understanding required under s. 49.857 (2), the department shall deny an application to issue or renew, suspend if already issued or otherwise withhold or restrict an approval specified in par. (a) if the applicant for or the holder of the approval fails to display his or her operator's license under ch. 343 or his or her identification card under s. 343.50.

AB133-SSA1-SA6,3,22 " Section 1487m. 49.857 (2m) of the statutes is created to read:

AB133-SSA1-SA6,4,5 49.857 (2m) Notwithstanding sub. (2) (b) 4., the memorandum of understanding with the department of natural resources, under sub. (2) (b) may not require a license applicant to provide or display his or her social security number under the system established by the department of workforce development. The memorandum of understanding with the department of natural resources may require the applicant to display his or her operator's license under ch. 343 or his or her identification card under s. 343.50.".

AB133-SSA1-SA6,4,9 "(9e) Identification numbers for certain approvals. The treatment of sections 29.024 (2g) (title) and (a) (intro.) and (2m) and 49.857 (2m) of the statutes takes effect on the first day of the 3rd month beginning after publication.".
