ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO ASSEMBLY SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO 1999 ASSEMBLY BILL 141

AB141-ASA1-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

AB141-ASA1-AA1,1,3 1. Page 1, line 3: before "and providing a penalty" insert ", making an appropriation".

AB141-ASA1-AA1,1,4 2. Page 3, line 2: after that line insert:

AB141-ASA1-AA1,1,5 " Section 6g. Nonstatutory provisions.

AB141-ASA1-AA1,1,11 (1) Notwithstanding section 16.42 (1) (e) of the statutes, in submitting information under section 16.42 of the statutes for the purpose of the 2001-03 biennial budget bill, the department of transportation shall submit information concerning the appropriation under section 20.395 (5) (cq) of the statutes as though the amounts appropriated to the department under that appropriation for fiscal year 2000-01 were $37,500 less than the amounts in the schedule.

AB141-ASA1-AA1, s. 6m Section 6m. Appropriation changes.

AB141-ASA1-AA1,2,4 (1) In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of transportation under section 20.395 (5) (cq) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 1999, the dollar amount is increased by $37,500 for fiscal year 2000-01 to reflecting vehicle color on motor vehicle registration.".

AB141-ASA1-AA1,2,5 3. Page 3, line 6: delete lines 6 to 8 and substitute:

AB141-ASA1-AA1,2,8 " Section 8m. Effective dates. This act takes effect on the first day of the 4th month beginning after publication or on July 1, 2000, whichever is later, except as follows:

AB141-ASA1-AA1,2,9 (1) Section 6m of this act takes effect on the day after publication.".
