AB97-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB97-AA1,1,2 1. Page 3, line 15: after that line insert:

AB97-AA1,1,5 " Section 8g. 940.20 (5) (b) (intro.) of the statutes, as affected by 1999 Wisconsin Acts .... (this act) and .... (Assembly Bill 465), is repealed and recreated to read:

AB97-AA1,1,7 940.20 (5) (b) (intro.) Whoever intentionally causes bodily harm to a school officer or employe under all of the following circumstances is guilty of a Class I felony:

AB97-AA1, s. 8r Section 8r. Nonstatutory provisions.

AB97-AA1,1,13 (1f) Reconciliation provision. The repeal and recreation of section 940.20 (5) (b) (intro.) of the statutes by this act and Section 9g (1c), (1cc) and (1cd) of this act are void unless the treatment of section 940.20 (5) (b) of the statutes by 1999 Assembly Bill 465 is enacted into law before July 1, 2000, in exactly the same form as it appears in section 308 of 1999 Assembly Bill 465.".

AB97-AA1,2,3 " Section 9g. Effective dates. This act takes effect on the day after publication, except as follows:

AB97-AA1,2,8 (1c) If 1999 Assembly Bill 465 has been enacted on or before the day after publication of this act and the treatment of section 940.20 (5) (b) of the statutes by 1999 Assembly Bill 465 took effect on or before the day after publication of this act, then the repeal and recreation of section 940.20 (5) (b) (intro.) of the statutes takes effect on the day after publication of this act.

AB97-AA1,2,14 (1cc) If 1999 Assembly Bill 465 has been enacted on or before the day after publication of this act and the treatment of section 940.20 (5) (b) of the statutes by 1999 Assembly Bill 465 takes effect after the day after publication of this act, then the repeal and recreation of section 940.20 (5) (b) (intro.) of the statutes by this act takes effect on the date that the treatment of section 940.20 (5) (b) of the statutes by 1999 Assembly Bill 465 takes effect.

AB97-AA1,2,18 (1cd) If 1999 Assembly Bill 465 is enacted after the day after publication of this act but before July 1, 2000, the repeal and recreation of section 940.20 (5) (b) (intro.) of the statutes takes effect on the date that the treatment of section 940.20 (5) (b) of the statutes by 1999 Assembly Bill 465 takes effect.".
