ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 2, TO 2001 ASSEMBLY BILL 769

AB769-AA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB769-AA2,1,4 1. Page 1, line 3: after "warranty" insert "and the sales tax and use tax on amounts paid by a motor vehicle manufacturer under an employee purchase program".

AB769-AA2,1,5 2. Page 2, line 1: before that line insert:

AB769-AA2,1,6 " Section 1c. 77.51 (4) (b) 1. of the statutes is amended to read:

AB769-AA2,1,11 77.51 (4) (b) 1. Cash or term discounts allowed and taken on sales and amounts paid by manufacturers licensed under s. 218.0114 (2) to retailers, if such amounts are related to an employee purchase program offered by the manufacturer to the manufacturer's current and retired employees, that reduce the amount paid by the consumer to the retailer at the time of sale.".

AB769-AA2,1,12 3. Page 2, line 1: delete " Section 1" and substitute "Section 1f".

AB769-AA2,1,13 4. Page 2, line 8: after that line insert:

AB769-AA2,2,6 77.51 (15) (b) 1.
