SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO SENATE SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2001 SENATE BILL 104

SB104-SSA1-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

SB104-SSA1-SA1,1,3 1. Page 34, line 21: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with page 35, line 9, and substitute:

SB104-SSA1-SA1,1,5 " Section 75b. 11.26 (9) (a) of the statutes is renumbered 11.26 (9) (a) (intro.) and amended to read:

SB104-SSA1-SA1,1,11 11.26 (9) (a) (intro.) No individual who is a candidate for state or local office may receive and accept more than 65% of the value of the total disbursement level determined under s. 11.31 for the office for which he or she is a candidate the following amount during any primary and election campaign combined from all committees subject to a filing requirement, including political party and legislative campaign committees.:

SB104-SSA1-SA1,2,1 11.26 (9) (a) 1. For a candidate for the office of governor, $400,000.

SB104-SSA1-SA1,2,2 2. For a candidate for the office of lieutenant governor, $100,000.

SB104-SSA1-SA1,2,3 3. For a candidate for the office of attorney general, $100,000.

SB104-SSA1-SA1,2,5 4. For a candidate for the office of secretary of state, state treasurer, justice or state superintendent, $50,000.

SB104-SSA1-SA1,2,6 5. For a candidate for the office of state senator, $24,000.

SB104-SSA1-SA1,2,7 6. For a candidate for the office of representative to the assembly, $12,000.

SB104-SSA1-SA1,2,11 7. For a candidate for any other state or local office, 20% of the value of the total disbursement level, as determined under s. 11.31 (1) and adjusted as provided under s. 11.31 (9) but without respect to any adjustment under s. 11.31 (1m), for the office for which he or she is a candidate.

SB104-SSA1-SA1, s. 75d Section 75d. 11.26 (9) (b) of the statutes is renumbered 11.26 (9) (b) (intro.) and amended to read:

SB104-SSA1-SA1,2,19 11.26 (9) (b) (intro.) No individual who is a candidate for state or local office may receive and accept more than 45% of the value of the total disbursement level determined under s. 11.31 for the office for which he or she is a candidate the following amount during any primary and election campaign combined from all committees other than political party and legislative campaign committees subject to a filing requirement.:

SB104-SSA1-SA1,3,2 6. For a candidate for the office of representative to the assembly, $7,763.

For a candidate for any other state or local office, 25% of the value of the total disbursement level, as determined under s. 11.31 (1) and as adjusted as provided under s. 11.31 (9) but without respect to any adjustment under s. 11.31 (1m), for the office for which he or she is a candidate.".
