ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 89, TO ASSEMBLY SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2001 SENATE BILL 55

SB55-ASA1-AA89,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

SB55-ASA1-AA89,1,4 1. Page 238, line 17: increase the dollar amount for fiscal year 2001-02 by $3,000 to increase funding for providing flags to the Wisconsin Veterans Tribute Memorial.

SB55-ASA1-AA89,1,5 2. Page 382, line 3: after that line insert:

SB55-ASA1-AA89,1,6 " Section 785e. 20.485 (2) (e) of the statutes is amended to read:

SB55-ASA1-AA89,1,10 20.485 (2) (e) Veterans memorial grants. From the general fund, as a continuing appropriation, the amounts in the schedule for the veterans memorial grant program under s. 45.04 and for the grant under 2001 Wisconsin Act .... (this act), section 9157 (8g).".

SB55-ASA1-AA89,1,11 3. Page 1368, line 4: after that line insert:

SB55-ASA1-AA89,2,6 "(8g) Grant to Wisconsin Veterans Tribute Memorial. In fiscal year 2001-02, the department shall provide a grant from the appropriation account under section 20.485 (2) (e) of the statutes, as affected by this act, in the amount of $3,000 to the Wisconsin Veterans Tribute Memorial in Chippewa County for the repair and replacement of flags at the memorial if the Wisconsin Veterans Tribute Memorial provides matching funds of $3,000.".
