ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 4, TO 2003 ASSEMBLY BILL 524

AB524-AA4,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB524-AA4,1,4 1. Page 3, line 22: delete lines 22 and 23 and substitute "taxes, an amount equal to 6% of the amount expended by the claimant in the taxable year to make an equity investment in a venture capital fund.".

AB524-AA4,1,7 2. Page 4, line 25: delete ""claimant's cash investment" and substitute "amount expended by the claimant in the taxable year to purchase an ownership interest".

AB524-AA4,1,8 3. Page 5, line 1: delete "the taxable year to which the claim relates".

AB524-AA4,1,11 4. Page 7, line 16: delete lines 16 and 17 and substitute "taxes, an amount equal to 6% of the amount expended by the claimant in the taxable year to make an equity investment in a venture capital fund.".

AB524-AA4,2,3 5. Page 9, line 10: delete lines 10 and 11 and substitute "taxes, an amount equal to 6% of the amount expended by the claimant in the taxable year to make an equity investment in a venture capital fund.".
