SENATE AMENDMENT 99, TO SENATE SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2003 SENATE BILL 44

SB44-SSA1-SA99,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

SB44-SSA1-SA99,1,4 1. Page 125, line 13: increase the dollar amount for fiscal year 2003-04 by $50,000,000 and increase the dollar amount for fiscal year 2004-05 by $50,000,000 to increase funding for the purpose for which the appropriation is made.

SB44-SSA1-SA99,1,5 2. Page 285, line 17: delete lines 17 to 21.

SB44-SSA1-SA99,1,7 3. Page 784, line 4: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with page 787, line 17.

SB44-SSA1-SA99,2,10 121.08 (2) The aid computed under sub. (1) shall be reduced by the sum of the amount by which the school district equalized valuation exceeds the secondary guaranteed valuation, multiplied by the secondary required levy rate, and the amount by which the school district equalized valuation exceeds the tertiary guaranteed valuation, multiplied by the tertiary required levy rate. In no case may the aid under this section be less than the amount under sub. (1) (a) zero.".
